Share your story

We're inviting our shared owners to share their experiences – because no one is better placed to explain what shared ownership is really like than the people who live it every day.

For many people, owning a home can feel out of reach. That's where shared ownership can make a real difference.
While shared ownership homes make up just a small part of the housing market, we've heard from many Sparrow customers about the positive impact it's had on their lives. From getting onto the property ladder sooner than they thought possible to enjoying the stability and security of having a home of their own, shared ownership has helped thousands of people become homeowners.
But we also know that shared ownership comes with responsibilities. Whether it's understanding service charges, maintaining your home, staircasing, or planning for the future, it's important that people have a realistic picture before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Help tell the story of shared ownership
We're looking for customers who'd be happy to take part in a short video and talk about their shared ownership journey.
Whether your experience has been overwhelmingly positive, had a few bumps along the way, or been a bit of both, we'd love to hear from you.
The aim is simple: to help more people understand the opportunities and responsibilities that come with shared ownership, through honest stories from real homeowners.
Take part in a short video
You'll receive:
£150 as a thank you for their time
An opportunity to share their personal experience
A relaxed, informal conversation with no scripts or pressure
Filming will take around two to three hours.
Register your interest here.
Not keen about being on camera?
That's absolutely fine.
If you'd rather not take part in a video, we'd still love to hear from you through our short survey. Share your feedback here.
Every shared ownership journey is different, and every story matters. By sharing your experience, you'll help future homeowners make informed decisions and contribute to a better understanding of what shared ownership is really like.
